Dr. Steven C. Bruderer, DMD
Dr. Bruderer has been practicing dentistry since August 2007. He opened Blue Rock Family Dental in November 2010, and has loved living in Tooele County and practicing dentistry in its beautiful valley.
Dr. Bruderer attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. Soon after BYU, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend dental school at Temple University. When he graduated from dental school in 2007, he was given awards in Radiology and Implant Dentistry for outstanding academic and clinical achievement.
After dental school, Dr. Bruderer was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force and began working at the Nellis Air Force Base Dental Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. While at Nellis AFB, Dr. Bruderer was involved in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program which gave him additional training and experience in all dental specialty areas.
After the year in Las Vegas, Dr. Bruderer worked for two years at McGuire AFB in Wrightstown, New Jersey. At McGuire, he was honored twice as the Dental Squadron Dental Officer of the Quarter, and once as the Medical Group Officer of the Quarter. He enjoyed his time in the Air Force, but he was excited to enter private practice and move back to Utah, his home state. Dr. Bruderer is currently the President of the Tooele District of the Utah Dental Association. In dental school, service in the Air Force, and in his own private practice, Dr. Bruderer has become known for his precise, beautiful dentistry, and his comfortable and calm chairside manner.

Dr. Bruderer's Family
Dr. Bruderer enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and his five children: Sally (9), Adrianne (8), Weston (5), Calvin (3), and Ruby (3 months). The Bruderers like to go bike riding, boating, camping, and fishing as a family. They are also huge fans of baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies!
About our Staff
We are fortunate to have a competent and friendly staff at Blue Rock Family Dental. Janet is our front office receptionist, and in the back we have two Licensed Dental Hygienists, Melissa and Jamee and two Certified Dental Assistants, Bailey and Bria. Our patients have consistent positive experiences due in a large part to the personalities and abilities of our staff.
